Been here lots of times, always the same friendly staff, homely atmosphere and excellent food.
This is the first time I've been here in years, booked a table for my mum's birthday. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff are very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.One small drawback is the lack of baby changing facilities as we had a toddler with us, but the staff were quick to offer an alternative solution.The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, would definitely come back here again in the not too distant future.

Went for my staff christmas party... food was opted for before we arrived. Our group was one of maybe 3 groups there, which was fine the function room was full. The food was sub par, for 22 I had a watery minestrone soup, and my vegan option for main was a vegetable lasagne which I had to wait and extra 10 minutes for, my colleagues meals were burnt or dry and there was no pudding option for me, so I feel the price point was ridiculous. I would have expected a glass of bubbly, table service and at least an option for pudding. Top it of toilet near function room was blocked from the start and was seriously revolting by the end of the night. Left early. So disappointed. Will not be returning!
Excellent food, top quality service, with a genuine family atmosphere. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
