I have always took my husbands work suits here, I've never had a problem with my the service I also had my bridesmaids dress altered at turners and I took them back to be cleaned after they had been warn for the day along with my wedding dress and ushers suits
Avoid taking your wedding dress here!Took my wedding dress to be cleaned and steamed ready for my uk wedding reception following my wedding in Cyprus, I was quoted 90 for service which seems very reasonable priced. I dropped my dress off on Monday and collected on Friday evening ready for my UK reception on Saturday on returning home I inspected my dress and was horrified, my dress was silk lace and tulle material skirt and a very full dress, they had cleaned it however the layed of tulle what I can only imagine have been over heated and singed and burnt and my dress has lost it full mess and was full of creases so no way had it been steamed to a wearable standard so a very sleepless night worrying what I could do, I returned to the shop on the following morning to ask for an explanation which I was not given only told oh sorry I was get it sorted this morning, why was my dress ever allowed to leave the shop in that condition, my husband collected the dress later that evening again only to find that still all the layers had not been done nor could they steam out the frills of the dress due to the overheating them originally, and anyone looking at the dress would think I had burnt bits of tissue attached. Not a very attractive look for a bride !!!After a short phone call with Mr turner he offered my my money back and said well what would you like me to do about it I am offering you your 90 back, rude arrogant and very unprofessional to say the least. Nor does this make up for what you done to my dressNeedless to say this shop ruined my UK party and i will not be leaving it there I plan to seek professional advise and assistant in taking this matter further !!!
Absolutely fantastic, I had my bridesmaid dress altered as it was too small, Margaret and the staff at Turners always make sure that they give the best service, my dress was a zip up but because it had to have so much taken out they replaced the zip with a lace up back, they pressed and altered the dress. I felt fabulous! Great prices great staff thank you!!
