This company should NOT be used. Absolute disgraceful. I rang them to ask for a quote 150.00 they said. Pay 70.00 upfront and remainder on completion. Said they would be with me within the hour. 2.5 hours later and a guy appeared who does not work for this company. He told me that they are robbers as they charge 70.00 for the call its a call centre. The guy who came out told me this. I the. Had to pay him 80.00. Absolute con company.
WATCH OUT THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU OFF After failing to fish the car keys out of my car, these guys smashed my window and then charged me 200 for it demanding cash payment. I initially refused as they had quoted me the price for zero damage to the car so they got heavy on me, very intimidating. After payment they left all the glass all over the babies seats and the floor and seats of my car and drove off. These are cruel and unprofessional cowboys. Do not use them
Absolutely shocking service. Rang 6pm Friday and it took 4pm sat to have my car key replaced I gave full information that the key I requested was a keyless fob, waited over 2 hours for someone to come only for them to bring the wrong key as they weren't passed on the correct information. The same guy advised he would come back first thing and then after chasing him he advised that he couldn't till that evening. After waiting another 3 hours was told they would have someone out in the hour. A engineer attended, did have the correct key but not familer with the car. After another 2 hours it was sorted.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS BUSINESS. They are not providing the actual service but call out to local locksmiths to book in the service. This 'service' will cost you 70 on top of the actual key cost. As some of previous customers, I was also advised that the problem will be fixed within two hours. I had my doubts about whether issue can be solved since I have already spoken to few local locksmiths and was told this will not be possible. I was assured however by the company representative that the problem will be fixed within two hours and that I will receive full refund if this won't be the case. When the locksmith finally arrived (after few days) I was advised that he works independently and I need to pay call out fee of 50. As expected the locksmith could not fix the issue. I complained about this twice. First time I was advised the person I spoken to initially will give me a call asap. After waiting for a week I have called the company again and spoken to lady who sold me the service. She was not aware of my issue and advised that she cannot help me at this time but someone will contact me within next few days to discuss the details. This has been two weeks ago now and I still did not receive phone call from the business. Today I have advised the company that I contacted Citizen Advice Office and was told to ask for their complain process. The company representative advised me that the 70 will be refunded within the next two days. I do hope this will be the end of this struggle but definitely would not recommend any dealings with this business.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! TAKE DEPOSIT BEFORE KNOWING IF THEY CAN DO THE WORK. SAY REFUND WILL TAKE 3-5 DAYS CONSTANTLY BUT STILL NO REFUND OVER 1 MONTH LATER! NOW TAKING THEM TO COURT. ALL KNOWN AS STERLING TRADE SERVICES LTD!
