This is a popular and well used tram station, so much so that it actually needs to have a multi storey car park, as you can't park during the week after 9am.
Brilliant if wanting to get to Manchester or Rochdale. But car park can get full very quick at peak times.
carpark very busy but trams ride no problems
Very often that the ticket machine is out of order or the card machine , I paid at this machine with a 10 in 2016 and it was swallowed, I emailed them multiple times and never heard back. I remember running to the tram once and then I made it and the doors wouldnt open my ticket was in my purse and the staff were laughing at me saying I shouldve bought a ticket.
