Not sure how this ground qualifies as a League 1 Rugby League venue.There is barely any seating, and the area around the pitch is narrow, so you need to be good friends with those around you. Conditions on the day I visited were dry, had it been raining, I'd likely be writing this while dying from influenza.At 14 it's not cheap for such poor facilities.On the upside the pitch is 3G so the weather isn't going to stop the game easily, and it is more even than it was. It still has a gradient though.
Off road parking is available, there is road parking too, so arrive early to park off road. A cafe right next door is great for hot drinks and a full breakfast or lunch time meal.
Really friendly welcome was received here. Quite a neat setup with raised seating areas. Clubhouse is outside the actual stadium. It has several rooms with bars, toilets and car parking. Plenty of spaces for parking and they were eager to help disabled patrons. Neat 4G pitch with floodlights. Press/commentary box.
Had a fantastic night for a friends 30th, The bar staff were lovely, always smiling & polite, would definitely attend another party there if invited
