Me and the wife went 4 first time today.Black forest gateau.100% like nothing I've ever tasted before.You got to try it.Egg free cake,Never herd of it but will now not go anywhere else. 10/10.

I wish the was no Star option so i could press that ! Worst ever experience at this branch today ! & this is 1st review from my entire family & wait for over 200 more to come !!Went to buy a cake for birthday party, Requested a cake which was in the fridge , Plain White (as i am allergic to Strawberry) 10" cake I was told by Untrained , Immature staff member of staff who pretended to be a manager that I cant not get that cake without fruit, BECAUSE in their menu the printed cake has fruit so she must have to put & make that cake exactly the same way as it is on their menu before serving ! wow absolutely a JOKE ! i told her again & again that I dont want Strawberry as i am allergic to it , She said then you can choose an other cake but she cant sell me a plain cake which was in the fridge & if she does she must have to put all the fruit exactly as its in the picture on the menu & she is the manager & can not change her decision ! OMG , I couldn't believe , in the whole UK , every single food place you go to , They respect & must have to follow FSA rules & guideline, I was refused to given her name (Chubby brown lady with glasses on )Pitty on Franchisee who has given keys of his store to such immature & untrained staff.I have written a detailed complaint to FSA, Cakebox Headoffice with proof of all this incident & me & my entire family/friends will be sharing this worst ever experience of cake box with everyone in OLDHAM & sounding areas to aware those people who are allergic to anything MUST NOT visit cake box oldham as they can not meet your requirements !!
Good quality cake. Light and delicious. Staff member was very nice. The cake was very filling so Id suggest splitting it between 3-4 people if having as a snack/light dessert.
