Lovely park, great for a nice family day ouy

Clean and tidy, nice place to walk the dog around. Not the largest park and there isn't really anywhere secure to let the dog off lead.

I live on Derker but our own park, (Stoneleigh,) has become so overloaded with OMBC and Tesco B-S that I've stopped going there.I like Waterhead Park better. Also Veg in the Park, (which is based in the compound with the large Poly Tunnel,) is in many respects one of the better operated volunteer projects in Oldham and is staffed by some of nicest people that I've met whilst working as a volunteer.

Fantastic place to walk or doing exercise

Climbing frames swings and rockers but no slides ? My 2 girls 4 & 9 still had a good time though it seemed limited as to what you could actually do .
